Accessibility Services

At the Ware Center, we believe that the arts are for everyone. If you have accessibility needs beyond what is listed below, please contact us so that we can make your experience with us the best that it can be!

The Ware Center is ADA accessible. Please call the Box Office at 717-871-7600 to make arrangements for access services, such as a courtesy wheelchair, or see an usher for assistance at the venue.

Large Print and Braille Programs can be provided by request two weeks in advance of the performance by calling the Ware Center front desk at 717-871-7018.

ASL interpretation and Audio Description are available to make our performances accessible to all patrons. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the Millersville University Office of Visual & Performing Arts, should contact Barry Kornhauser, Assistant Director of Campus & Community Engagement, by phone at 717-871-7812 or by email no later than 2 weeks before the scheduled event.

Assisted listening devices are available for Steinman Hall free of charge. Accessible restrooms are located on the first and third floors of the Ware Center. An accessible elevator is also available.

Sensory-friendly programming provides a supportive and welcoming environment for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and other sensory, social, and cognitive disabilities. Designated performances offer sensory-friendly accommodations, including sensory kits, which are available upon request.
