Registration
ARTS SMARTS registration is now live! See the full camp listing at the bottom of this page to register. Please note that each camp is a half-day AM or PM session that lasts one week. If your child is participating in multiple sessions, you must register them for each one. (For example, a child participating in both morning and afternoon art camps during Week 1 would register for two camps, while a child participating in both morning and afternoon music camps during BOTH weeks would register for four!)
About Arts Smarts
ARTS SMARTS 2025 will take place from June 16 to 27, 2025 at the Ware Center in Lancaster, PA, featuring 16 unique camps each week in morning and afternoon sessions for young campers in Music, Theatre, Dance, or Visual Arts. Click here for a full listing of the camp descriptions for 2025.
Week 1: June 16 to 20, 2025
Week 2: June 23 to 27, 2025
Ages: These camps have been created especially for children in two grade-level ranges: (rising) Kindergarten–Grade 2 and (rising) Grades 3-5.
Camp Sessions: Each camp is different, and there are morning and afternoon options for both grade-level ranges and in all four disciplines – Music, Theatre, Dance, and/or Visual Arts.
Accessibility: Camps are open to children of all abilities!
Session Times: Campers can register for morning sessions from 9 AM – 12 PM, afternoon sessions from 1 PM – 4 PM, or both! For those staying all day, there is a supervised lunch period. Lunches must be brought to camp and will be refrigerated. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.
Additional Details: Both mornings and afternoons feature a “common hour” in which all campers join together for a large group creative multi-disciplinary activity. On Fridays of both weeks, there are morning and afternoon performance showcases and art exhibits for families and friends featuring the campers’ work of each week. Drop-off and pick-up at the Ware Center is supervised by the staff.
Teaching Staff: The staff is comprised of a team of professional teaching artists and Millersville University Arts Education students who have full clearances to work with children.
Tuition
Camps are $125 for a half-day session, per week, per child.
