Passages

Local AAPI Artists • Regitz Gallery

“Passages” brings together six local Asian American artists to explore the moments of transition that shape our lives. Presented in conjunction with the Our Journeys exhibit in the Owen Grand Salon, the show invites each participating artist to reflect on a personal story, a pivotal moment, or a literal passageway that has shaped their own journey.

Artists Libby Ethridge, Wendy Li, Aron Rook, Bri Nguyen, Vu Quoc Nguyen, and Yen Elizabeth Keener offer pieces that span mediums and moods, from painting to photography, exploring the many ways we navigate change as human beings.

“Passages” will be on display in the Regitz Gallery from February 6–27, inviting viewers to consider the journeys—emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual—that shape us all.

On display February 6-27.

Opening reception Friday, February 6, from 5-8 p.m.

Souls Shot Portrait Project: Portraits of Victims of Gun Violence

Regitz Gallery

Souls Shot features works honoring and memorializing the lives of victims of gun violence, created by artists working together with their loved ones. By hearing stories and seeing photographs, videos, and mementos, the artists get to know who the person was in their lifetime. The portraits they create are as diverse and unique as the souls they represent.

On display March 6-27.

Opening reception Friday, March 6, from 5-8 p.m.
