A music film about gun violence and gun rights in America. Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and NPR’s David Greene journey through rural, urban, and suburban America, having a conversation that humanizes all sides of this country’s polarized gun debate. Through the convening power of music and civil discourse, Secor and Greene help those they meet to find unexpected common ground.

At 6:15 PM, come early for a pre-show community discussion panel – then stay after the film for a post-screening Q&A with David Greene. Our community panel includes:

  • Dr. Pia Fenimore, Clinical Consultant for the Lancaster County Safe Firearm Storage Initiative and Chief of Pediatrics at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health
  • Rev. Martha Harris, Convenor of With One Voice: Faith Leaders United to End Gun Violence
  • Kim McDevitt, Executive Director of Mental Health America, Lancaster
  • Maura Condon Umble, Board Member of CeaseFirePA, member of Moms Demand Action, and appointed to the Pennsylvania Office of Gun Violence Prevention Executive Committee
  • Noemi Witmer, ad hoc member of McCaskey Students For Gun Reform
  • Alex Pierce, President of the Mount Joy Sportsmen’s Association

In the lobby, there will be tables for Moms Demand Action, CeaseFirePA, With One Voice, Safe Firearm Storage Project, Sandy Hook Promise, Faith Leaders for Ending Gun Violence, and Souls Shot Portrait Project.

Accessibility: ASL interpretation will be available for the panel discussion and Q&A. The film is captioned.
