M-Uth Theatre Ensemble Presents: Radium Girls

The M-Uth Theatre Ensemble, a youth theatre company for teens and young adults of mixed abilities, presents Radium Girls by D.W. Gregory, the heart-wrenching story of the young women who worked in the dial painting factories of the early 1900s. In order to make the watch dials glow in the dark, the girls painted them with radioactive, radium-based paint. To make a fine tip on their brushes, the girls were instructed by their employers to point them with their lips. When the girls began to get sick, the company embarked on a cover-up to save themselves and their business while slowly poisoning their workers.

Admission is free, and no tickets are required. Join us in celebrating the efforts of our young artists!
