Monday, June 17, 2024
Doors: 9am | Performance: 9am

Legends Around the World
In this camp, the young players will explore and perform ancient legends from around the world. Campers will be exposed to a diverse expanse of myths and tales from countries such as Japan, Somalia, Greece, and Peru.   They will use their bodies, voices, imaginations and creativity to make these fascinating stories come to life.

Campers can register for morning sessions from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, afternoon sessions from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, or both! (For those staying all day, there is a supervised lunch period. Lunches must be brought to camp and will be refrigerated.) Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Both mornings and afternoons feature a “Common Hour” in which all campers join together for a large group creative multi-disciplinary activity. On Fridays of both weeks, there are morning and afternoon performance showcases and art exhibits for families and friends featuring the campers’ work of each week. Drop-off and pick-up at the Ware Center is supervised by the staff. Registration deadline is May 17, 2024.
